Homeschool Assessments

This page is for homeschool assessments.  If you need access to our teacher assessments, please email us at orders@flippedmath.com from your work (teacher) email.  The assessments on this page are not protected and anyone has access to purchase them.

For the homeschool assessments, we currently have only three courses available.  Algebra 1 (traditional), Geometry, Algebra 2 (traditional).  All options include answer keys for the assessments.  For each of those courses, you have the following options.

  • Option 1 includes one test for each unit.  PDF download.
  • Option 2 includes one mastery check (quiz) for each lesson.  PDF download.
  • Option 3 includes both Option 1 and Option 2, at a cheaper combined price.  PDF download.

Select the course title to see a list of lessons for that course.  Select the option to open up that product page in a new tab.

Homeschool parents, please read!

Our site was originally built for our own students, to implement a "mastery" style of learning in which kids demonstrate their understanding before they are allowed to progress to the next lesson.  We began to have requests from homeschooling parents if we could sell assessments to them.  Although our material was designed for a public school setting, we believe it can be applied to a homeschool setting as well.

For the above courses, the material is free for you to use and adapt for your own use with your kids.  The only thing you would purchase are assessments, which come as a pdf download.  Under each lesson there is a “packet” that will include the following:
  1. Shell notes for kids to follow our video lesson.
  2. Practice problems that are designed to give kids a good mix of difficulty level for the topic.
  3. Wrap-up section that has some deep-level thinking word problems.

Under each video is also a solution guide for all the practice problems, along with one or two “Corrective Assignments” for extra practice if the kids need it.

We do not have tutoring help for kids.  That is something you have to provide on your own.

Our lessons are taught by four experienced high school math teachers (each with 20 years of experience), and we are confident in our ability to explain difficult concepts.  We know learning mathematics comes with consistent practice, not just the initial lesson.  This means your child may need some extra help to get through our material.  We wish you luck in your math education endeavors!
