## May Mathness

A competition between Bean and Brust classes who attend Ramstein High School. Each class will have from the starting bell to the end of class to pass as many Mastery Checks and Tests as possible. Each class will compete head-to-head with another class for the highest average points (see scoring below). The combined scores for two weeks will determine the winner..

Each passed Mastery Check scores points. 4 out of 5 correct = 2 points. 100% on a MC = 3 points.

Each passed Test scores points. 70-89% = 5 points. 90% and above = 6 points.

Take the total number of points you scored, and divide by the number of students in attendance that day, then multiply by 100 for a nice round score.. EXAMPLE: 30 kids are in the class, but 28 came to school that day with 62 points earned. 62 / 28 = 2.21 * 100 = 221 points

Each teacher will determine their rewards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Check with your teacher to know your prizes.

2014 Winner: Mr. Brust's 2nd Period

2015 Winner: Mr. Bean's 5th Period

2016 Winner: Mr. Sullivan's 6th Period
